GuideVan (“we”) is committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).

1. Information We Collect

  • Identity information: full name, phone number, email, address
  • Identity verification (KYC) information: national ID/passport number, driver's license, document photos (for drivers and vehicle owners)
  • Trip and booking information: pickup/drop-off points, travel date and time, booking history, payment details
  • Location (GPS) data during the trip, for safety and status tracking purposes
  • Information from the LINE Official Account notification channel when you link your LINE account with GuideVan (LINE User ID used only to send job/payout/news notifications)
  • Website and application usage data (cookies, usage logs)

2. Purposes of Data Use

  • To process your requested vehicle, tour, and car rental bookings
  • To verify the identity of drivers/vehicle owners and conduct safety checks per platform standards
  • To send notifications related to bookings, job queues, payouts, and news through your chosen channel (app, email, or LINE)
  • To improve service quality and conduct statistical analysis (using de-identified data)
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

We will not sell or disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes, except where necessary to provide our services, such as payment providers (PromptPay), messaging service providers (LINE Official Account, email/SMS providers), or as required by law.

4. LINE Official Account

If you choose to link your LINE account with GuideVan, we will store your LINE User ID solely to send notifications related to your account (new job queues, payouts, booking status, and platform news). You may unlink at any time by blocking or removing GuideVan from your LINE friends list.

5. Data Retention Period

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Identity verification (KYC) documents are retained for at least 3 years as required by law, and audit logs are retained for 7 years.

6. Data Subject Rights

You have the following rights under the PDPA:

  • The right to access and request a copy of your personal data
  • The right to request correction of your data to keep it accurate and up to date
  • The right to request deletion or suspension of use of your data, subject to conditions prescribed by law
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time

7. Data Security

We encrypt personal data using AES-256 (at rest) and TLS 1.3 (in transit) standards, along with role-based access control (RBAC) to restrict data access to authorized personnel only.
